How we handle your details

Who we are

Pharoah Ascend is run by Pharoah Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17220127. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are responsible for any details you give us.

The eligibility check

• Your answers stay on your device. The check runs inside your browser. What you pick is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it is gone when you close or reload the page.
• No cookies, no tracking. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other companies.
• No account. You do not sign up or log in to use it, at any age.
• Delivering the page. Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting company (Cloudflare). To send you the page it handles your device’s internet address. We do not use that to work out who you are.
• Links from our other pages. If you arrive from a link on another of our pages, that link can carry a short label naming the page it came from. The label is added to the subject line of an email if you choose to send one. It describes the page, not you.

If you email us

• What we get: your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write.
• What we need: a first name and a way to reply. Please do not send ID, your date of birth, your home address or any documents.
• What we do with it: answer your question about the apprenticeship. Nothing else.
• Passing it on: to start an apprenticeship you need an employer and an approved training provider. We only put you in touch with either one if you ask us to, and we ask you first each time. We never sell details and we do not add you to a mailing list.
• Who sees it: the small team that handles enquiries for Pharoah Technology. Our email is provided by Google.
• How long we keep it: only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
• Why we are allowed to: you wrote to us and we need your message to reply (the law calls this our legitimate interest). We only pass details to an employer or training provider with your consent, which you can take back.

If you are under 18

• You can use the eligibility check without telling anyone anything.
• You can email us yourself. You may want to talk it over with a parent, carer or someone you trust first. That is your choice.
• We will not ask you for more than a first name and a way to reply. If a training provider later needs more from you, they explain why before you give it.
• We do not use your details to advertise to you.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop using it. Email info@pharoahtechnology.co.uk and we will reply within one month. It is free.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or call 0303 123 1113.

If this changes

If we ever add a sign-up form or start keeping details in another way, this page will say so before it happens, and the date at the top will change.
